Dosage & Storage
Dosage
3mL for every 50 kg bodyweight.
Apply in two bands, about 7 cm wide, on each side of the spine between the rump and the shoulders with a suitable applicator.
Storage
Store below 30°C (room temperature).
Store in original container, tightly closed in a safe place out of direct sunlight.
Registered Label Warnings:
DO NOT USE on cattle which are producing, or may in the future produce milk for human consumption.
Do not re-treat for at least 6 weeks after previous treatment.
Apply a maximum of 3 treatments per annual tick season.

Export Slaughter Interval (ESI): DO NOT USE less than 42 days before slaughter for export.
Safety Directions:
Harmful if swallowed. Will damage eyes and skin. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Repeated exposure may cause allergic disorders. When opening the container and using the product, wear cotton overalls buttoned to the neck and wrist, a washable hat, elbow length butyl rubber gloves and a face shield. If clothing becomes contaminated with product remove clothing immediately. After use and before eating, drinking or smoking, wash hands, arms and face thoroughly with soap and water. After each day's use, wash gloves, face shield and contaminated clothing.
First Aid Instructions:
If poisoning occurs, contact a doctor or Poisons Information Centre. Phone Australia 13 1126. If swallowed, DO NOT induce vomiting. Give a glass of water. If product in eyes, wash it out immediately with water: hold eyes open, flood with water for at least 15 minutes and see a doctor. If product on skin, immediately wash area with soap and water.

- Weigh cattle accurately before treatment — never estimate liveweight, as underdosing reduces efficacy and can contribute to resistance development in tick populations.
- Oztik contains fluazuron, an insect growth regulator (chitin synthesis inhibitor) with a unique mode of action to conventional acaricides. - Because Oztik kills ticks progressively, some tick burden will remain visible on cattle for up to 2–3 weeks post-treatment. Resist the urge to re-treat early — doing so unnecessarily increases resistance pressure and exceeds label recommendations. Monitor cattle and trust the product's timeline.
- Store below 30°C, in the original tightly closed container, out of direct sunlight. Keep records of all treatments including date, cattle mob, liveweights, dose applied, and withholding periods to support property management and compliance requirements.
