Tik Bos Pour-On Tick Development Inhibitor is for strategic control of the Cattle Tick, Boophilus microplus, (including all known acaricide resistant strains) on beef cattle.
Tik Bos is a tick development inhibitor and kills ticks progressively. The development inhibiting effect commences within 3 days of treatment. It can take 2 to 3 weeks for cattle to be visibly free of ticks.
Withholding periods:
- Meat: DO NOT USE less than 42 days before slaughter for human consumption. Calves which have suckled on treated cows must not be slaughtered less than 4 months after the last treatment of these cows.
- Milk: DO NOT USE on cattle which are producing or may in the future produce milk for human consumption.
- ESI: DO NOT USE less than 42 days before slaughter for export.
