Urea (46% N) is the most concentrated and cost-effective nitrogen fertiliser. Rates vary widely by crop and yield target — always base on a soil test. Urea volatilises rapidly in warm, moist conditions; incorporate with rainfall or irrigation within 24–48 hours.
