INCITEC PIVOT FERTILISERS - GREEN UREA - SLOW RELEASE - NV 25KG at a glance

New Green Urea NV is a stable and efficient way to get extra nitrogen securely into your soil, with reduced losses through volatilisation.

Green Urea has already proved its flexibility and effectiveness as an alternative to conventional
granular urea.

With the new Lockdown urease inhibitor coating, this NV formulation has increased storage stability as well as the proven potential to produce more feed than standard urea.

Features:

The same high analysis as urea (46% nitrogen)
Contains a urease inhibitor to protect against volatilisation losses
Suitable where rainfall or irrigation is unlikely within a few days of application
Can be blended with other fertilisers

Benefits:

Protects against nitrogen losses
Retained nitrogen can then be used to grow additional pasture dry matter
Allows greater flexibility of application timing
Reduces nitrogen losses in unfavourable settings such as warm and windy conditions, on drying soils and on high pH soils

Apply 50-100kg/ha of Incitec Pivot Green Urea to pastures in south-east Queensland, adjusting rates based on pasture response requirements and soil testing. Broadcast evenly across the paddock using a spreader for uniform coverage. For best results, apply immediately before or during rainfall events (10-25mm within 48 hours) to minimise nitrogen volatilisation losses. Do not apply when rain is unlikely within 48 hours, particularly in hot weather conditions. Tips: Time applications to coincide with seasonal rainfall to reduce volatilisation losses by up to 27% or more. Store in a cool, dry location as moisture will degrade the product quality and effectiveness. Always ensure even application across the paddock for consistent pasture response and nutrient distribution.

Common Questions

What's the nitrogen content in Green Urea NV?

Green Urea NV contains 46% nitrogen, the same high analysis as standard urea.

How does the urease inhibitor coating help?

The Lockdown urease inhibitor coating protects against nitrogen losses through volatilisation. This means more of the nitrogen stays in the soil where your plants can use it, rather than being lost to the air. It's especially useful in warm and windy conditions, on drying soils, and on high pH soils.

When should I apply Green Urea NV?

Green Urea NV is suitable where rainfall or irrigation is unlikely within a few days of application. The urease inhibitor coating gives you greater flexibility with timing compared to standard urea, and helps protect against losses in unfavourable conditions.

Can I blend Green Urea NV with other fertilisers?

Yes, Green Urea NV can be blended with other fertilisers.
