Apply Incitec Pivot Urea as a nitrogen fertiliser to crops and pastures at rates determined by soil or tissue testing and agronomic advice for your specific situation — there is no single blanket rate, as nitrogen requirements vary with crop, pasture, soil type, season and target yield. Broadcast evenly across the paddock using appropriate spreading equipment. To reduce nitrogen loss through volatilisation, apply when useful rainfall or irrigation is expected shortly afterwards, or water the product in; losses are greater when urea is left on a warm, moist soil surface without incorporation. Store in a dry location, as moisture degrades the product. Tips: Split applications can improve nitrogen use efficiency, particularly on lighter soils. Consult your agronomist for rates and timing suited to your crop or pasture. Disclaimer: The information provided above is a general guide only. Results vary depending on your specific situation, soil type, climate and management practices. Always read the registered product label and Safety Data Sheet before use, and consult your agronomist. Contact our team on (07) 5482 1692 — we're happy to help.
Apply in autumn or early spring for best results; split applications can improve nutrient utilisation in sandy soils.

Common Questions

What is Incitec Pivot Urea used for?

Incitec Pivot Granular Urea is a concentrated nitrogen (46% N) fertiliser for dry application to soil, and in solution for soil application, to promote plant and pasture growth. This product is sold and labelled as a fertiliser and should not be fed to livestock as a non-protein nitrogen (NPN) supplement — only a product specifically manufactured and labelled as stockfeed urea should be used for that purpose, and only in rations formulated with veterinary or nutritionist advice, as urea can be toxic to ruminants if fed incorrectly.

How concentrated is this urea product?

Incitec Pivot Granular Urea contains 46% nitrogen (N), making it one of the most concentrated solid nitrogen fertilisers available and offering economical value per kilogram of nitrogen.

What size bag does it come in?
