Host: Horses. For treatment and control of tapeworm, large strongyles, small strongyles, pinworms, ascarids, hairworms, intestinal threadworms, stomach worms, bots and cutaneous onchocerciasis.

Administered orally (into the mouth) at a dose rate of 0.4 mg/kg moxidectin and 2.5 mg/kg praziquantel. The syringe is calibrated according to the body weight of the horse to be treated, in intervals of 25 kg. Turn the dial ring until the left side of the ring lines up with the weight of the animal. Ensure the animal's mouth is empty; with your thumb on the plunger, insert the nozzle of the syringe into the horse's mouth at the space between the front and rear teeth, and make sure the tip of the syringe is over the back of the tongue. Deliver the dose of gel onto the back of the tongue by gently pushing the plunger until it stops. One 14.4 g syringe is sufficient to treat a horse weighing 700 kg; more than one syringe is needed to treat horses weighing more than 700 kg. Do not administer the full syringe to horses under 500 kg. Use with caution in foals and smaller breeds by carefully calibrating the dose and avoid overdosing. When used as directed, this product is safe in foals over 4 weeks of age and in all breeding stock, including stallions and pregnant mares. Retreatment intervals for the control of small strongyles can be extended to 14 to 16 weeks. Precautions (label): Keep away from dogs: Excessive consumption of spilt material may cause toxicity. Extremely toxic to aquatic species. Do not contaminate dams, rivers, streams or other waterways with the chemical or used container.
