Merial Equimec Paste is a broad-spectrum worming paste for horses and is effective in the treatment and control of roundworms, bots and skin lesions caused by Habronema and Draschia spp, and cutaneous larvae (summer sores) by Onchocerca spp.

Directions for use:
Each syringe (6.42g) treats 600kg bodyweight. Adjust the dosage control knob to your horses bodyweight, lock in place and press plunger.
For example, for a 100kg horse, administer 1.07g. Insert the syringe into the side of the horses mouth in the gap between the front and back teeth.
Advance the plunger as far as it will go, press the plunger to the chosen dosage, depositing the medication on the rear of the tongue.
Immediately raise the horse’s head for a few seconds after dosing to ensure the full dose has been swallowed.
Merial Equimec paste is effective in the treatment and control of common worms and bots including:
Large strongyles:

Small strongyles including:

What parasites does Equimec Horse Paste treat?
Equimec is a broad-spectrum wormer effective against a wide range of internal parasites in horses, including roundworms, strongyles (including benzimidazole-resistant strains), pinworms, hairworms, lungworms, threadworms and bots. It also controls skin lesions caused by Habronema and Draschia spp, and summer sores caused by Onchocerca spp. Please note it does not control tapeworms. Can I use this paste on pregnant or lactating mares?

How do I dose and administer the paste?
