Eraquell Pellets Palatable Wormer for Horses is formulated in a palatable cereal pellet which is readily accepted by horses.
For the treatment and control of common worms and bots in horses including large strongyles (bloodworms) (Strongylus spp., Triodontophorus spp.), small strongyles (redworms) (Cyathostomum spp.) including benzimidazole (BZ) resistant strains, pinworms (Oxyuris equi), large roundworms (Parascaris equorum), hairworms (Trichostrongylus axei), intestinal threadworms (Strongyloides westeri), bots (Gasterophilus spp.) and lungworm (Dictyocaulus arnfieldi).
Also controls the skin lesions caused by Habronema and Draschia spp. larvae (summer sores) and Onchocerca spp. microfilariae (cutaneous onchocerciasis).
Dose: 200 µg ivermectin per kg body weight – administer 5 g of pellets per 100 kg body weight. Each 30 g sachet contains 120 mg ivermectin; each 35 g sachet contains 140 mg ivermectin.
Safe for use in all horses, including pregnant mares and breeding stallions. Not recommended for use in foals, due to risk of incorrect dosing and subsequent adverse outcomes. Avoid consumption of pellets by dogs.
Withholding period: DO NOT USE less than 28 days before slaughter for human consumption.

Common Questions
Can I use Eraquell Pellets on my foal?
No. The label states Eraquell Pellets are not recommended for use in foals, due to risk of incorrect dosing and subsequent adverse outcomes.
What if my horse won't eat all the pellets?
Add a small amount of pre-mixed feed or grain (up to 1 handful) to the remaining pellets, mix together and offer to the horse again until the entire dose is consumed.
