Tomcat II Blox Red Bait is for the control of Rats and Mice including those resistant to other anticoagulants, in and around domestic, commercial, public services and industrial buildings.

Tomcat II Blox Red is the most powerful, single feed bait on the market today in the well known and market leading cog shaped blox.

A fresh tasting, highly compressed bait that holds up well, particularly in adverse or moist conditions.

The Tomcat II rodenticide contains the strongest, single-feeding anticoagulant active on the market today.

Due to its higher toxicity, less bait is used.

Tomcat II has excellent palatability, rodent acceptance and therefore control, including control of Warfarin-resistant rodents.

Tomcat baits satisfy a rodents desire to gnaw.

Rats and mice can consume a lethal dose of Tomcat II (red) bait in just one feeding.

Lethal dose is only 17 mg

How to use Tomcat II:

Ready to use - fast acting Tomcat II Rat Bait for use in and around homes, agricultural, commercial and industrial buildings. A true rat and mouse bait containing the anti-coagulant brodifacoum.

Place Tomcat II Rat Bait in rat or mouse bait stations and observe the bait taken. Replace Tomcat II Rat Bait that becomes more than 50% eaten to minimise the chance of blocks being removed from bait stations. Maintain the supply of Tomcat II Rat Bait until Tomcat II Rat Bait is no longer eaten.

Where continuous control is required, maintain a steady supply of blocks, replacing uneaten Tomcat II Rat Bait at monthly intervals to ensure Tomcat II Rat Bait remains fresh. Unlike egg-shaped mouse baits, Tomcat II Rat Bait cannot be rolled away and are manufactured with a hole in the middle so they can be easily nailed down to prevent stealing and burying away from the site.

Follow these basic tips when carrying out your pest control programme to ensure you get maximum benefit of Tomcat II Rat Bait at minimum cost:

Choose the right product for the job and seek advice if required.

Anticipate the problem rather than reacting to it.

Expose all of the rats or mice to the Tomcat II Rat Bait at the same time and remove all other food options if possible.

Follow label directions. This will improve results and minimise the risk to non-target animals.

Replenish Tomcat II Rat Bait when it is consumed by rats or mice and offer a generous amount of Tomcat II Rat Bait

Manage rat or mouse immigration by establishing and maintaining control buffer zones.

Also use rat or mouse bait stations to ensure Tomcat II Rat Bait remains fresh and dry plus prevents access by non-target species.

Place Tomcat II Blox in tamper-resistant bait stations in areas where rodent activity is evident, such as along walls, in corners, and near entry points. Position bait stations away from livestock feed, water troughs, and areas accessible to pets and wildlife. Check and replenish bait stations every 3-7 days, removing any uneaten bait and dead rodents. Continue treatment until rodent activity ceases, typically requiring 7-14 days of baiting. Tips: Always wear gloves when handling bait and wash hands thoroughly after use. Keep detailed records of bait station placement, dates, and consumption for farm WHS compliance and to monitor treatment effectiveness. Dispose of dead rodents promptly in sealed bags to prevent secondary poisoning in raptors, native wildlife, and pets. Common Questions

What is Tomcat II Blox used for?

Tomcat II Blox Red Bait is for the control of rats and mice, including those resistant to other anticoagulants, in and around domestic, commercial, public services and industrial buildings.

What makes Tomcat II different from other rat baits?

Tomcat II contains a single-feeding anticoagulant active and is highly compressed, holding up well in adverse or moist conditions. The cog-shaped blox design allows them to be easily nailed down to prevent rodents rolling or burying them away from the baiting site. It's also effective against warfarin-resistant rodents.

How do I use Tomcat II Blox?

Place the blox in rat or mouse bait stations. Replace any bait that becomes more than 50% eaten to minimise removal from stations. Maintain a supply until the bait is no longer being consumed. For continuous control, replace uneaten blocks at monthly intervals to keep them fresh. Always follow the label directions for best results and to minimise risk to non-target animals.

Is there an SDS or safety information I should read?

Yes. Before using Tomcat II Blox, read and follow the registered product label and Safety Data Sheet (SDS). These contain important safety directions, storage information and directions for use. You can request these from TGRM on (07) 5482 1692 or visit 55 Tozer St, Gympie.

Should I use bait stations?

Yes, bait stations are recommended. They help keep the Tomcat II Blox fresh and dry, and prevent access by non-target species, which is important for safety. The blox can also be nailed down within stations to stop rodents removing them.
