Second-generation anticoagulant bait — APVMA suspension conditions apply from 24 March 2026: use only in a tamper-resistant bait station (indoors only for home use), treat for up to 35 days per infestation, and search for and dispose of dead rodents. Commercial and farm use requires tamper- and weather-resistant stations secured in place. Unsure which bait you need? See our guide: Rat and Mouse Bait, Traps or Bait Stations — Which One Do You Need?

Talon Wax Blocks are a highly palatable, moisture- and weather-resistant single-feed rodenticide containing brodifacoum (0.05 g/kg) — ready to use, under the current conditions above, in and around industrial, commercial, public-service, agricultural and domestic buildings. The block format sits securely on a bait-station rod and holds up well in damp spots.

Controls rodents resistant to other anticoagulants, including warfarin, coumatetralyl and bromadiolone. Rodents continue to eat the bait after taking a lethal dose, so follow the label's baiting quantities. HACCP certified, and contains a human taste deterrent.

Place Talon wax blocks in tamper-resistant bait stations along walls, under eaves or in areas of rodent activity. Rats: 1 to 3 blocks per bait station with stations 5–9 m apart (do not exceed 9 m). Mice: single blocks per station 2–3 m apart (do not exceed 3 m). Inspect after 3–4 days and replace consumed blocks, repeat about 4 days later and then weekly; baiting for at least 2 weeks (3–4 pulses) is necessary. Do not apply wax blocks to crops and do not place blocks in the open. Search for and dispose of dead rodents. Observe the current APVMA conditions for second-generation anticoagulant baits and always read the current registered label.

Position bait stations along walls and in corners where rodents travel; maintain records of bait consumption to monitor population control.
