Talon Rat Bait Rat & Mouse Pellets 1kg

In and around agricultural, commercial, domestic, industrial and public service buildings. Target: rats and mice (including rodents resistant to bromadiolone, coumatetralyl and warfarin).

Place the pellets in tamper-resistant bait stations. DO NOT remove pellets from bait station. DO NOT place bait stations in the open. DO NOT place bait stations in locations which are accessible to pets, domestic animals, livestock or birds. DO NOT touch pellets, use scoop or measure. DO NOT inhale dust. DO NOT contaminate dams, waterways and drains with the pellets or the used container. Use is restricted to within 2 m of buildings or in enclosed spaces such as drains. Depending on the amount eaten, this product may kill or injure dogs, cats, pigs, poultry and other wildlife. Clean out treatments: for rats place 1 to 3 bait stations at intervals of 5 to 9 m in infested areas. For mice place single bait stations at 2 to 3 m intervals. DO NOT EXCEED 3 m BETWEEN BAIT STATIONS FOR MICE OR 9 m FOR RATS IN CLEAN OUT TREATMENTS. Conduct initial inspection of bait stations after 3 or 4 days. Replace or refill bait stations where the pellets have been consumed. Repeat approximately 4 days later and then weekly. Baiting for at least 2 weeks (3 to 4 pulses) will be necessary to reduce rat/mouse numbers to a low level. Monitoring and/or maintenance treatments: for rats and mice place 1 bait station at intervals of between 15 and 30 m in areas prone to rodent infestation. Bait stations should be checked at regular intervals according to an agreed and documented schedule. APVMA SGAR suspension instructions (APVMA Gazette No. 5, 10 March 2026, Attachment 2 – commercial use) replace any conflicting label directions: DO NOT place bait stations outdoors for control of mice. DO NOT use in areas accessible to non-target animals, pets or children unless secured in a tamper resistant bait station. DO NOT place bait outdoors unless it is secured in a tamper-resistant and weather-resistant bait station which is secured in place. DO NOT place bait stations more than 2 meters from buildings. DO NOT apply this product directly into burrows. DO NOT use the product continuously for more than 35 days without an evaluation of the state of the infestation and of the efficacy of the treatment. Hazardous to wildlife. Search for and dispose of dead rodents and slugs/snails in the infested area at each visit to prevent secondary poisoning. In case slugs/snails are present, move bait station to another location within the rodent infested site, away from slugs/snails. Dispose of slugs/snails, dead rodents and uneaten bait in compliance with local, state or territory government regulations. When using the product wear disposable gloves. During cleanup and disposal operations of bait and bait stations, wear disposable gloves. Wear disposable gloves when handling rodent carcasses. Wash clothes after performing re-handling activities.
