Apparent Slogger Herbicide is registered for the control of unwanted timber by stem injection or cut stump/brush cutter application, and control of blackberry, gorse and harrisia cactus by foliage spray.

Stem injection (all states): Acacia (except Qld), Angophora, Casuarina, Corymbia, Eucalyptus (except Yellow Box), Lophostemon and Melaleuca species, Camphor Laurel.

Cut stump / brushcutter (all states): Acacia (except Qld), Angophora, Casuarina, Corymbia, Eucalyptus (except Yellow Box) and Lophostemon species.

High volume spraying: Blackberry (all states except NT); Gorse (NSW, Vic, SA & Tas only); Harrisia cactus (Qld only).

Stem injection (all states): mix 1 part Slogger Herbicide with 4 parts water. Apply 1 mL to 2 mL of diluted chemical per cut at 10 to 15 cm centres, depending on stem size and whether the stem is treated at waist height or ground level, as set out in the label table. Do not exceed the spacings shown. Weeds: Acacia (except Qld), Angophora, Casuarina, Corymbia, Eucalyptus (except Yellow Box), Lophostemon and Melaleuca species, Camphor Laurel. Cut stump / brushcutter (all states): 500 mL per 10 L water. Cut the stem as close to the ground as possible, leaving the stump no higher than 10 cm. Weeds: Acacia (except Qld), Angophora, Casuarina, Corymbia, Eucalyptus (except Yellow Box) and Lophostemon species. Control of Acacia, Casuarina and Lophostemon species may be variable. High volume spraying: Blackberry (all states except NT) 500 mL per 100 L water, late spring to autumn; always add an adjuvant (see the Compatibility section of the label). Gorse (NSW, Vic, SA & Tas only) 375 mL per 100 L water, September to March when actively growing. Harrisia cactus (Qld only) 2.5 L per 100 L water; treat all stems thoroughly. Do not treat trees with poor sap flow. For high volume spraying, do not spray if rain is likely within 1 hour or if foliage is wet from rain or dew. Do not burn treated areas for 9 months after application or mechanically clear treated areas for at least 12 months after application. Do not allow spray drift onto waterways, native vegetation and susceptible crops. Always read the registered label before use (APVMA 69630).
