Situations: pastures, agricultural non-crop areas, commercial/industrial land, forests, rights of way, fallows or prior to planting a crop, non-crop areas on flood plains. Target: environmental and noxious woody and herbaceous weeds as listed on the label, e.g. blackberry, lantana, gorse, galenia, St John's wort (APVMA 70360).

Rates depend on the weed and application method - refer to the label tables. Examples from the label: high volume spraying - blackberry 350 mL or 500 mL per 100 L, using the higher rate on plants that have been damaged by grazing stock or insects and on known difficult to kill blackberry; lantana up to 1 m tall in summer to autumn 350 mL per 100 L - add one of the following adjuvants when using the 350 mL rate: Uptake Spraying Oil @ 0.5% v/v or Pulse Penetrant @ 0.1% v/v. Gas powered gun (Table D, low volume high concentrate): blackberry (ACT, NSW, Qld, SA, Tas and WA only) and eucalyptus species seedlings up to 2 m tall (all states) 335 mL per 10 L water; camphor laurel, cockspur thorn, crofton weed and mistflower 500 mL per 10 L water (states and growth stages as per the label table). Apply 50 mL shots to obtain uniform coverage of 4 to 5 m2 of surface area of bush. Delay treatment until all regrowth has had time to grow to approximately 1 metre in situations which have been bulldozed, slashed, burnt, ploughed or areas having a previous chemical treatment. Do not apply to weeds which may be stressed (not actively growing) due to prolonged periods of extreme cold, moisture stress (water-logged or drought affected), poor nutrition, presence of disease, damage or previous herbicide treatment, as reduced levels of control may result. Do not spray if rain is likely within one hour or if foliage is wet from rain or dew. Do not burn off, cut or clear blackberry or other woody weeds for at least six months after spraying. Do not apply by aerial application in wind in excess of 15 km/h and air temperatures above 35 degrees C. In areas prone to flooding, treatment should commence after any annual flooding, as areas flooded within 9 months following application may have reduced results. Poisonous plants may become more palatable after spraying and stock should be kept away from them until they have died down; many plants remain poisonous after death. Do not contaminate streams, rivers or waterways with the chemical or used containers. Withholding period: not required when used as directed.
