Surefire Raizon (300 g/L triclopyr + 100 g/L picloram, Group 4) is applied to actively growing woody and herbaceous weeds – never to animals. Rates are weed- and method-specific on the registered label: high-volume hand-gun spraying to thoroughly wet all foliage, e.g. blackberry 350–500 mL, lantana 350–750 mL, gorse 250–500 mL per 100 L of water; boom spraying e.g. galenia 5 L/ha, St John's wort 2–4 L/ha; low-volume gas-gun application in 50 mL shots per 4–5 m² of bush. Spray when weeds are actively growing and, after slashing, burning or dozing, allow regrowth to reach a treatable size. Withholding period not required when used as directed.
