Drontal Allwormer for Medium Dogs. Controls all 12 gastrointestinal worms and the shedding of Giardia cysts in dogs, including roundworms, hookworms, whipworm and tapeworms.
Does not control heartworm in dogs.
One tablet treats 10 kg. Drontal tablets may be given safely to all dogs including old animals, young pups, working dogs and greyhounds.

Common Questions
What worms does Drontal Allwormer control?
It controls all 12 gastrointestinal worms and the shedding of Giardia cysts in dogs, including roundworms, hookworms, whipworm and tapeworms. It does not control heartworm in dogs.
How much do I give?
One tablet treats 10 kg: 1.5–2.5 kg 1/4 tablet, 2.5–5 kg 1/2 tablet, 5.1–10 kg 1 tablet, and over 10 kg 1 tablet for every 10 kg bodyweight. Administer the dose by mouth; fasting is not necessary.
How often should I worm my dog?
Puppies at 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 weeks of age, then at 4, 5 and 6 months. Adults (over 6 months) every 3 months, or every 6 weeks in hydatid tapeworm infested locations. Pregnant/lactating bitches at mating, then 10 days before whelping and at 2 and 4 weeks after whelping, then every 3 months.
Can I use it in a pregnant dog?
Drontal tablets are not recommended during the 1st and 2nd part of pregnancy. Use for the 3 day Giardia treatment in the 3rd trimester should be based on a benefit/risk assessment by a veterinarian.
