Drontal Worming Suspension for Puppies, 30 mL, with enclosed dosing syringe.
For the control of roundworms, hookworms and whipworms in puppies and small dogs: roundworms (Toxocara canis, Toxascaris leonina), hookworms (Ancylostoma caninum, A. braziliense, A. ceylanicum, Uncinaria stenocephala) and whipworm (Trichuris vulpis). Does not control heartworm.
Dose: 1 mL/kg bodyweight. Give as a single dose by mouth using the enclosed dosing syringe. SHAKE WELL BEFORE USE. Fasting prior to dosing is NOT necessary. It is essential to weigh dogs before treatment.
Treatment schedule:
Roundworms and hookworms: treat at 2, 4, 6, 8, 10 and 12 weeks of age and then every month until six months of age, thereafter every 3 months or on veterinary advice.
Whipworms: treat every 6 to 8 weeks after 3 months of age.
Pregnant bitches should be treated routinely prior to mating, at the end of pregnancy and during lactation.
Drontal Suspension may be given safely to all young pups and small dogs. This product is not formulated for cats and is not recommended for this use. If worm problems persist consult a veterinarian.
