Avitrol Plus Praziquantel Bird Wormer Syrup Concentrate
For the treatment of threadworm (Capillaria spp.), caecal worm (Heterakis spp.), roundworm (Ascaridia spp.), gape worm (Syngamus spp.), gizzard worm (Acuaria spp.) and tapeworm (Raillietina spp.) in ornamental cage birds.
The concentrate is diluted in water and used as the sole source of drinking water.
Active constituents:
10 mg/mL levamisole hydrochloride (equivalent to 8.48 mg/mL levamisole base)
2 mg/mL praziquantel
Precautions: Do not use in birds intended for human consumption. Not recommended for use in Gouldian finches. Parrots and finches appear to be less tolerant than pigeons to levamisole, therefore caution is urged when treating these breeds.
Safety: Harmful if swallowed. May irritate the eyes and skin. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Wash hands after use.

How do I use this bird wormer?
Dilute 0.5 mL (12 drops from the dropper) in 20 mL water and use this as the sole source of drinking water for 24 hours. Give 2 doses 14 days apart, or as directed by a veterinarian.
