Poultry Wormer Bainbridge A8498 is registered for use in fowls, turkeys and other food-producing birds. It treats three common internal parasites: Large Roundworm (Ascaridia galli), Caecal Worm (Heterakis gallinarum), and Hairworm (Capillaria spp.). These worms can cause significant production losses in backyard flocks and commercial operations alike, making timely treatment important for flock health and productivity.

Administer Poultry Wormer at the rate specified on the label, typically mixed into drinking water or feed according to bird weight and age. Treat all birds in the flock simultaneously to ensure effective parasite control. Repeat treatment after 10-14 days to eliminate emerging parasites from eggs. Remove treated water or feed after the treatment period and allow birds access to fresh water. Tips for Best Results

• Weigh birds accurately before treatment — never guess bodyweight. Underdosing is the single biggest contributor to treatment failure and resistance development in poultry worm populations.
• Levamisole is a clear drench (L-group) that works on the nervous system of susceptible worms. Rotate between drench classes where registered alternatives exist to slow the development of resistance — avoid using the same active ingredient at every treatment cycle.
• Maintain refugia where practical — leaving a proportion of the flock untreated (if your veterinarian or advisor recommends it) helps preserve a population of worms that have not been exposed to the drench, slowing the spread of resistance through the worm population.
