Panacur 100 wormer is a ready to use broad spectrum worm drench for control of benzimidazole sensitive mature and immature roundworms and lungworms in cattle, and for the control of large strongyles, small strongyles, ascarids and pinworms in horses.
Panacur 100 is effective against sensitive strains of the following internal parasites:
Cattle:

Dose rate & administration
Cattle: 3.75 mL per 50 kg liveweight (equivalent to 7.5 mL per 100 kg, or 7.5 mg/kg fenbendazole) as a single oral drench.
Horses: 5 mL per 50 kg liveweight (equivalent to 10 mL per 100 kg) as a single oral drench. A higher rate applies for Strongyloides westeri in foals — refer to the registered label.
Shake the container well before use. Panacur 100 is ready to use — no dilution or mixing is necessary. May be administered through standard drenching equipment. Do not use in calves under 16 weeks of age.

- Dose according to the heaviest animal by liveweight in the group. Do not underdose.
- Where there is a large variation in size within the group, draft into two or more lines based on liveweight to avoid excessive overdosing.
- Calibrate drenching equipment before and during use. After use, wash equipment in clean water.

Tips for Best Results
- Weigh accurately — never estimate. Underdosing a mob because you've guessed weights is one of the fastest ways to drive drench resistance on your property. Use scales or a weigh band and dose to the heaviest animal in the group.
- Understand Benzimidazole (BZ / white drench) resistance. Benzimidazoles are the oldest drench class available, and resistance is well established in many cattle worm populations across Queensland. Never rely on a single drench class as your sole treatment strategy — talk to the team at TGRM on (07) 5482 1692 about combination and rotation options suited to your property.
- Preserve refugia. WormBoss emphasises that not every animal in a mob needs to be drenched at every treatment. Leaving low-worm-burden animals undrenched maintains a population of worms in refugia (not exposed to the drench), which dilutes resistant worms on pasture and slows the development of resistance across your herd.
- Store correctly. Store Panacur 100 below 30°C, away from direct sunlight, and keep the container tightly sealed. Check the expiry date before each use.
- Keep records. Record the date, product used, batch number, animals treated, dose administered, and withholding period applied. Good records support resistance monitoring and help you track the effectiveness of your worm control program over time.
