Vantal Upgrade 36EW is a 36 g/L oil in water emulsion abamectin formulation for the control of certain Mites and insect pests on Almonds, Apples, Capsicums, Citrus, Cotton, Hops, Ornamentals, Pears, Tomatoes, Strawberries and Vegetables as specified in the directions for use.

Vantal Upgrade (36 g/L abamectin, Group 6) is applied as a thorough foliar spray at crop- and pest-specific label rates, for example: cotton 150 mL/ha; apples and pears 375 mL/ha plus spray oil; citrus 7.5–12.5 mL per 100 L; strawberries 50 mL/100 L (max 600 mL/ha); tomatoes 150–225 mL/ha; beans 150 mL/ha; ornamentals 25 mL/100 L (max 750 mL/ha). Withholding periods range from nil (ornamentals) and 3 days (strawberries, tomatoes) to 7 days (citrus), 14 days (pome fruit), 20 days (cotton) and 28 days (beans). Do not apply more than 2 applications per season in most crops. Thorough coverage of all plant surfaces, particularly the undersides of leaves where mites feed, is essential.
