SureFire AntStar Granular Insecticide is a Bifenthrin-based granular insecticide which gives excellent control of ants, ticks, fleas & many turf pests in the garden & outside areas around your home.
SureFire AntStar Granular Insecticide can be used as a protective treatment when applied at regular intervals or as a knockdown treatment to control existing pests.

SureFire AntStar (bifenthrin 2 g/kg, Group 3A) is registered for lawn armyworm, sod webworm, Argentine stem weevil, African black beetle and billbug adults in turf, and for black ants, coastal brown ants, funnel ants, sugar ants, stinging ants, fleas (adults and larvae) and ticks (Ixodes spp.) in turf and the external surrounds of buildings. Check the registered label for the full list of approved pests and situations.
SureFire AntStar is a ready-to-use bifenthrin (2 g/kg) granule – no mixing required. Broadcast evenly with a hand or mechanical spreader over lawns and the external surrounds of buildings at the label rate: lawn armyworm and sod webworm 0.6 kg per 100 m²; Argentine stem weevil and billbug adults 0.6–1.2 kg/100 m²; African black beetle adults 1.2–1.8 kg/100 m²; black, coastal brown, funnel, sugar and stinging ants 0.6–2.2 kg/100 m² (apply over and around nests and trails); fleas and ticks 1.1–2.2 kg/100 m². Water in lightly after application to release the active into the thatch/soil unless the label directs otherwise. DO NOT apply inside buildings or within 2 m of ponds, drains or other water; remove pets during treatment and keep children and pets off the area until it has been watered in and dried. Bifenthrin is a contact and residual insecticide (not a bait) – re-treat as pests reappear according to the label.

Tips for Best Results
- Apply when pests are active: treat ants where they are active, applying granules directly over nests and trails, and treat turf pests when larvae or adults are present.
- Water in: the label directs irrigation immediately after application (up to 4 mm for turf pests, up to 10 mm for fleas) to move bifenthrin into the thatch where pests are contacted; avoid heavy rain or run-off.
- Keep away from water: do not apply within 2 m of ponds or drains – bifenthrin is very toxic to aquatic life.
- Outdoor use only: do not apply inside buildings; keep away from domestic pets, especially dogs, and keep out of reach of children.
