Second-generation anticoagulant bait — APVMA suspension conditions apply from 24 March 2026: use only in a tamper-resistant bait station (indoors only for home use), treat for up to 35 days per infestation, and search for and dispose of dead rodents. Commercial and farm use requires tamper- and weather-resistant stations secured in place. Unsure which bait you need? See our guide: Rat and Mouse Bait, Traps or Bait Stations — Which One Do You Need?
Tomcat (green) is a single-feed anticoagulant block bait. The highly compressed, cog-shaped block contains food-grade additives for palatability, holds up well in damp or adverse conditions, satisfies a rodent's desire to gnaw, and sits securely on a bait-station rod. Rats and mice can consume a lethal dose in a single feeding (a lethal dose is only 36 mg), and it controls warfarin-resistant rodents.
The manufacturer positions Tomcat green as less toxic to non-target animals, in both primary and secondary poisoning situations, than other single-feed anticoagulants — it is still a second-generation bait, and the station and suspension conditions above apply in full.
Areas of use: in and around domestic, commercial and public buildings, under the current conditions above.

Active Ingredient: Bromadiolone 0.05 g/kg (0.005% w/w)
Chemical Schedule: S6
APVMA Reg. No: 49776
For use on: Rats, Mice
Use Tomcat All-Weather Blox only in tamper-resistant bait stations, secured in place, where rodent activity is evident (along walls, in corners, near runs, entry points and harbourages) in and around (within 2 m of) domestic homes, industrial and commercial buildings, animal houses, farms and public service buildings. Rats: 2–8 x 28 g blocks per bait station; do not exceed 9 m between stations. Mice: 1–2 x 28 g blocks per bait station; do not exceed 3 m between stations; do not place bait stations outdoors for control of mice. Inspect bait stations daily and replace eaten, contaminated or spoiled baits; baiting for at least two weeks is necessary to reduce numbers, and do not use the product beyond 35 days without an evaluation. Do not place bait outdoors unless secured in a tamper-resistant and weather-resistant bait station, and do not place stations more than 2 m from buildings. Do not use in areas accessible to non-target animals, pets or children unless secured in a tamper-resistant station; search for and dispose of dead rodents. Always read the current registered label.

Common Questions
What is Tomcat Blox used for?
Tomcat Blox is a rodenticide designed to control rats and mice in and around domestic, commercial and public buildings. It's a highly compressed bait block that works well even in moist or adverse conditions.
Why is Tomcat Blox effective against rodents?
Tomcat contains food-grade additives that make it highly palatable to rodents, encouraging them to feed. The bait is formulated to satisfy rodents' natural feeding behaviour, and it's effective even against Warfarin-resistant populations. The well-known cog shape and low wax content help maintain the bait's integrity in tough conditions.
Is Tomcat Blox safe to use around my home or business?
Tomcat is formulated to be less toxic to non-target animals in both primary and secondary poisoning situations compared to other single-feeding anticoagulants. However, all rodenticides must be used carefully and stored safely away from children, pets and non-target animals. Always read and follow the product label and registered APVMA directions for safe use. If you have questions about safe application on your property, contact TGRM on (07) 5482 1692 or visit 55 Tozer St, Gympie.
