Second-generation anticoagulant bait — APVMA suspension conditions apply from 24 March 2026: use only in a tamper-resistant bait station (indoors only for home use), treat for up to 35 days per infestation, and search for and dispose of dead rodents. Commercial and farm use requires tamper- and weather-resistant stations secured in place. Unsure which bait you need? See our guide: Rat and Mouse Bait, Traps or Bait Stations — Which One Do You Need?

Surefire Broma Blocks combine single-feed bromadiolone (0.05 g/kg) with PCT's Australian-made bait formulation — locally sourced food-grade ingredients selected for local conditions, demonstrated to give superior palatability and attractiveness to rodents. Controls rats and mice including those resistant to other anticoagulants, in and around domestic, commercial, public-service and industrial buildings, under the current conditions above. Contains denatonium benzoate (a powerful bittering agent) to reduce the likelihood of accidental human consumption.

Active ingredient: bromadiolone 0.05 g/kg.

Active Ingredient: Bromadiolone

Chemical Schedule: S7

For use on: Rats, Mice

Host: Building/Storage. Target: Rats, Mice
Place Surefire Broma Blocks in tamper-resistant bait stations at 10-15 metre intervals around affected areas, with stations positioned along walls and entry points where rodent activity is observed. Ensure bait stations are secured and inaccessible to livestock, pets and wildlife. Check stations every 3-7 days and replenish bait as consumed. Continue treatment for 2-4 weeks or until rodent activity ceases, then monitor regularly to prevent reinfestation. Tips: Always wear gloves when handling bait blocks and wash hands thoroughly after use. Keep detailed records of bait station locations, dates of placement, and bait consumption for farm WHS compliance and to track treatment effectiveness. Rotate to a different anticoagulant active (second generation) if rodent populations re-establish to manage resistance.
