Phozguard 620 Systemic Fungicide. Controls root rot in avocado and subterranean clover, root and collar rot in citrus, root and crown rot in ornamentals, root and heart rot caused by phytophthora fungi in pineapples and for the control of downy mildew in grapes, poppies and cucurbits.

Avocado (phytophthora root rot) - trunk injection (QLD, NSW, VIC, SA, WA & ACT only): skeletal trees (1st yr) 4.9 mL undiluted product per metre of canopy diameter; other situations 2.4 mL product diluted with 7.5 mL water per metre of canopy diameter. Do not add any other material other than water to Phozguard 620 for trunk injection. Foliar spray: 3.2–3.9 L/ha (solution concentrate 160–190 mL/100 L, spray to run off); curative: apply every 3 weeks until disease is under control; preventative: every 5–6 weeks. Citrus (phytophthora root and collar rot) - young or small trees: 165–320 mL/100 L to leaf wetness. Mature trees: 13 L/ha in 3000–4000 L water or 7.8 L/ha in 2000–5000 L water. Apply as a protectant before above ground symptoms of decline and collar rot become evident. Do not apply under high temperature (above 35 °C), particularly if humidity is low, or to moisture stressed trees. Cucurbits (downy mildew): 2.9 L/ha in a minimum 800–1000 L water. Use weekly spray intervals when conditions favour disease development. To avoid phytotoxicity with some plant species, test the product on a few plants of each species prior to the main application. Grapes (downy mildew): 1.9 L/ha early season small canopies; 2.6–3.9 L/ha mid to late season large canopies. The rate must be adjusted to the vine row volume (see label). DO NOT apply after E-L 33. Ornamentals (phytophthora root and crown rot; QLD, NSW, VIC, TAS, WA, ACT, NT only): 1.6 mL/L boom or knapsack, or 3 mL/L airblast, at 4–6 weekly intervals when conditions favour disease development. To avoid phytotoxicity with some plant species, test the product on a few plants of each species prior to the main application. DO NOT apply when ornamental plants are dormant, stressed or under extremes of temperature. Pineapples (phytophthora root and heart rot; QLD, WA): 3.9 L/ha. Poppies (downy mildew; TAS only): 1.9 L/ha; apply no more than 2 sprays per crop per season. Withholding periods: Subterranean clover - do not graze or cut for stock foods for 14 days after application. Poppies - do not harvest for 6 weeks after application.
