Coopers Nilzan LV Oral Drench 2L — for the control of levamisole susceptible round worms and liver fluke in sheep and cattle, also assists in the removal of tapeworm segments in sheep and lambs.
A specially formulated mixture of levamisole and oxyclozanide: 75 g/L levamisole hydrochloride (equivalent to 64 g/L levamisole) and 150 g/L oxyclozanide.
Levamisole-susceptible strains controlled: Barber's Pole Worm (Haemonchus spp.), Stomach Hair Worm (Trichostrongylus axei), Black Scour Worm (Trichostrongylus spp.), Small Intestinal Worm (Cooperia spp.), Thin Necked Intestinal Worm (Nematodirus spp.), Hookworm (Bunostomum spp.), Threadworm (Strongyloides spp.), Large Mouthed Bowel Worm (Chabertia ovina), Nodule and Large Bowel Worm (Oesophagostomum spp.), Large Lungworm (Dictyocaulus spp.) and Small Brown Stomach Worm (Ostertagia spp.) in sheep; mature (adult only) Ostertagia spp. in cattle under 12 months of age.
Controls both susceptible and benzimidazole resistant strains of Barber's Pole Worm and Black Scour Worm in sheep. Also effective against Liver Fluke (Fasciola hepatica). Lambs under 15 kg liveweight will not be affected by mature liver fluke and hence do not require Nilzan LV.
Dose rate: Sheep 1 mL per 10 kg liveweight; cattle 5 mL per 45 kg liveweight. Do not administer to dogs or horses.
Withholding periods: Meat — do not use less than 14 days before slaughter for human consumption. Milk (cattle) — zero (0) days. Sheep — do not use in ewes which are producing or may in the future produce milk that may be used or processed for human consumption. ESI — do not use less than 14 days before slaughter for export.
