There are two withholding periods (WHPs), which apply one after the other for this chemical, and both must be observed. The first, the grazing and cutting WHP, depends on the type of spraying used. Stock which have been grazed in treated areas after the grazing and cutting WHP has passed must then be moved to untreated areas or fed on clean feed for at least 14 days before slaughter. The requirement for moving animals from treated to untreated areas, or feeding them with clean feed for at least 14 days before animals are sent to slaughter, applies permanently to treated areas, whether spot sprayed or sprayed in some other way. Spot spraying: Do NOT graze or cut for stock feed, areas which have received spot treatment, for at least 14 days after spraying. Do not graze stock in treated areas for at least 14 days prior to slaughter or being milked for human consumption. Blanket treatment (treatment other than spot-spraying): DO NOT graze treated areas or cut for stockfeed for 4 months after application. Do not graze stock in treated areas for at least 14 days prior to slaughter or being milked for human consumption.

Pastures, non-crop situations, industrial use, urban open space, woodlands, roadsides, nature reserves and commercial forestry: serrated tussock, Sporobolus species (giant Parramatta grass, giant rats tail grass), African lovegrass, Chilean needle grass and other needle grasses, Coolatai grass (suppression only; NSW, Qld, Vic, SA, WA only), cane grass/thatch grass and Jaragua grass (Qld only), paspalum, couch and kikuyu grass (non-crop/industrial, specified states only).

Rates (product per hectare, ground / aerial; spot rate per square metre of infested area), from the registered label: Pastures and non-crop situations – Sporobolus species (all states): 15 kg / 15 kg; spot 1.5 g/m². Serrated tussock (all states): 15 kg / 15 kg; spot 1.5 g/m². African lovegrass (all states): 22.5 kg / 22.5 kg; spot 2.25 g/m². Coolatai grass, small patchy infestations – suppression only (NSW, Qld, Vic, SA, WA only): 22.5 kg / 22.5 kg; spot 2.25 g/m². Cane grass/thatch grass, Jaragua grass (Qld only): 22.5 kg / 22.5 kg; spot 2.25 g/m². Needle grasses – urban open space, woodlands, roadsides, nature reserves, pastures and non-crop situations (all states): 22.5 kg ground; spot 2.25 g/m². Commercial forestry – serrated tussock, Sporobolus sp.: 15 kg / 15 kg; spot 1.5 g/m². African lovegrass, needle grasses: 22.5 kg / 22.5 kg; spot 2.25 g/m². Non-crop situations – paspalum, couch, kikuyu grass (Qld, NSW, WA only): 67.5 kg ground; spot 6.75 g/m². Industrial use – state limits apply, see label. This product is a granular formulation that is not mixed in water. Ground application can be carried out in suitable areas with a properly calibrated precision granular applicator approved by Granular Products Pty Ltd; aerial application by fixed wing aircraft or helicopter fitted with calibrated precision equipment, by operators approved by Granular Products Pty Ltd. For best control, apply during periods of active plant growth. Sufficient moisture is required after treatment to promote root absorption by the weed species. This product is very slow acting and control of existing growth will take 3–12 months depending on weather conditions. The actual length of satisfactory residual control will depend on soil type and rainfall. DO NOT apply near desirable susceptible trees. DO NOT allow drift onto susceptible crops or ornamentals. DO NOT apply in dry winters, severe droughts or to weeds retarded by burning. DO NOT apply onto desirable perennial or annual grasses. DO NOT apply in areas where deposited granules are accessible by the general public. This product is liable to leaching and movement in the soil under heavy rainfall.
