HRC Exiguard Buffalo Fly Insecticide is formulated to control Buffalo Fly (Haematobia irritans exigua) in Beef and Dairy Cattle.

Directions for use
Backrubber: Mix 1 L Exiguard per 20 L of new, non-recycled motor oil or clean mineral oil. Charge the backrubber with 20 mL of treated oil per animal every three weeks. Not to be used on lactating cows where milk may be used for human consumption when treatment is by backrubber.
Overspray: Mix 20 mL Exiguard per 1 L of water (1:50). Apply 50 mL of this dilute mix per 150 kg liveweight. Re-treat at 21-day intervals during the buffalo fly season (minimum retreatment interval 10 days); no more than 18 overspray treatments in any one year.
Withholding periods
Meat: Zero (0) days. Milk: Zero (0) days for overspray; DO NOT USE on lactating cows where milk may be used for human consumption when treated by backrubber. ESI: Backrubber — DO NOT USE less than 10 days before slaughter for export; overspray — zero (0) days.

Tips for Best Results
- Overspray at 21-day intervals during the buffalo fly season (minimum 10 days between treatments, maximum 18 overspray treatments per year); recharge backrubbers every three weeks.
- Chlorfenvinphos is an organophosphate — do not treat cattle with other organophosphate products at the same time, and rotate to a different chemical class if control diminishes.
- Schedule 7 Dangerous Poison: wear the protective clothing specified on the label and store securely away from children, animals and feed.
