Cydectin Plus Fluke Pour-On for Cattle is for the treatment and control of moxidectin sensitive strains of gastrointestinal nematodes and triclabendazole sensitive strains of liver fluke (Fasciola hepatica) of cattle.
Contains moxidectin, a second generation macrocyclic lactone endectocide that is effective against parasites sensitive to this family, and triclabendazole, which is effective against liver fluke.
Effective in the treatment and control of:
- Triclabendazole susceptible liver fluke (late immature (6 to 8 weeks) and adult): Fasciola hepatica
- Moxidectin susceptible gastrointestinal worms (adult and larval L4): Small Brown Stomach Worm (Ostertagia ostertagi), Stomach Hair Worm (Trichostrongylus axei) and Small Intestinal Worm (Cooperia spp.)
- Moxidectin susceptible gastrointestinal worms (adult): Barbers Pole Worm (Haemonchus placei), Nodule Worm (Oesophagostomum spp.), Thin-necked Intestinal Worm (Nematodirus spp.) and Hookworm (Bunostomum spp.)
Protection period: A single treatment at the recommended dose rate prevents re-infection with moxidectin susceptible Barber's Pole Worm (Haemonchus contortus) and Small Brown Stomach Worm (Ostertagia ostertagi) for 14 days.
Dose rate: 0.5 mg moxidectin and 20 mg triclabendazole/kg liveweight (1 mL per 10 kg liveweight), applied along the top of the back from the withers to the base of the tail. Ready to use. Cattle in excess of 650 kg should be dosed at 1 mL per 10 kg liveweight.
It has not been observed to cause irritation to the skin or hide damage when used as directed.

Meat: DO NOT USE less than 50 days before slaughter for human consumption.
Milk: DO NOT USE on dairy cattle which are producing or may in the future produce milk for human consumption or processing.
ESI: DO NOT USE less than 160 days before slaughter for export.
Active constituents: 5 g/L moxidectin, 200 g/L triclabendazole.
Store below 30°C (room temperature) and protect from light.
