Apparent Woody Extra Herbicide is for the control of a range of environmental and noxious woody and herbaceous weeds as specified on the registered label.
Weeds on the label include: African boxthorn, Australian blackthorn, biddy bush, blackberry, blue heliotrope, brooms, camphor laurel, chinee apple, cockspur thorn, crofton weed, eucalyptus spp., gorse, groundsel bush, hawthorn, lantana, mesquite, mistflower, mother-of-millions, parkinsonia, Paterson's curse, prickly pear, rubber vine, Siam weed, sicklepod, St John's wort, sweet briar, tropical soda apple, wattle and wild tobacco tree; and, in fallow situations, weeds such as flax-leaf fleabane, camel melon, prickly paddy melon and common sowthistle. Situations: agricultural non-crop areas, commercial and industrial areas, pastures and rights-of-way; fallow situations.
Application methods: high volume spraying (hand gun, knapsack and 12 volt sprayer), aerial application, controlled droplet application (C.D.A.), low volume high concentrate application techniques, boom application and blanket wiper application.
Picloram and aminopyralid, two of the active constituents in this product can remain active in the soil for extended periods depending on soil type and application rate, rainfall, temperature, humidity, soil moisture and soil organic matter. For Northern New South Wales and Queensland, DO NOT plant susceptible crops for up to 9 months after application, as specified in the label's minimum recropping periods table. Dry conditions after application will increase the re-cropping interval. During drought conditions (or when the rainfall is less than 100 mm for a period of 4 months or greater) the plant-back period may be significantly longer.
