The Acatak 30 mL Applicator is a pour-on dosing gun, not a treatment. Fit the draw-off tube and fan spray nozzle to the pour-on container, prime the gun, and set the variable dose selector (5–30 mL) to the volume required by the registered label of the product you are applying for the animal's liveweight. Dose, application site, repeat interval and withholding periods all come from that product's label — never from this applicator. After use dismantle, clean and re-lubricate the gun according to the supplied cleaning instructions and check dose accuracy before the next job.
Tips for Best Results
- Calibrate the gun before each session by dispensing a set dose into a measuring cylinder.
- Use the dose recommended on the label of the pour-on product for the heaviest animal in each group; never guess liveweight.
- Rinse with warm soapy water, flush with clean water and re-lubricate after use so seals are not attacked by solvent-based pour-ons.
