ZOLVIX PLUS Broad Spectrum Oral Anthelmintic for Sheep and Cattle contains 25 mg/mL monepantel, a member of the Amino-Acetonitrile Derivative (AAD) class of anthelmintics, and 2 mg/mL abamectin, a member of the Macrocyclic Lactone (ML) class.
For the treatment and control of gastrointestinal roundworms sensitive to monepantel and/or abamectin in sheep, including strains resistant to macrocyclic lactones, benzimidazoles, levamisole or closantel drenches (Haemonchus contortus only), and their combinations.
For the treatment and control of gastrointestinal roundworms sensitive to monepantel and/or abamectin in beef cattle and non-lactating dairy cattle.
ZOLVIX PLUS is also effective against AAD-sensitive immature (L4) stages of Haemonchus contortus and Teladorsagia circumcincta in sheep where a combination of a macrocyclic lactone and derquantel is less effective.
Dose rate
Sheep and lambs: 0.5 mL/5 kg (1 mL/10 kg) body weight.
Cattle: 5 mL/50 kg (1 mL/10 kg) body weight.
Drench animals orally using an Elanco recommended drench gun.
Restraints
DO NOT USE in sheep less than 10 kg body weight. DO NOT USE in cattle less than 100 kg body weight. DO NOT USE in ewes which are producing or may in the future produce milk that may be used or processed for human consumption. DO NOT USE in lactating cows or within 49 days of calving where milk may be used or processed for human consumption.
Re-treatment interval
Sheep: DO NOT RE-TREAT animals for 42 days after the last treatment.
Cattle: DO NOT RE-TREAT animals for 21 days after the last treatment. After three consecutive treatments, 61 days must elapse before treating again.
Withholding periods
Meat: sheep 14 days; cattle 12 days.
Export Slaughter Interval (ESI): sheep 21 days; cattle 61 days.

What does Zolvix Plus control?
Gastrointestinal roundworms sensitive to monepantel and/or abamectin in sheep, including strains resistant to macrocyclic lactones, benzimidazoles, levamisole or closantel drenches (Haemonchus contortus only), and in beef cattle and non-lactating dairy cattle.
What is the dose rate?
1 mL/10 kg body weight for sheep and lambs and for cattle, given orally with an Elanco recommended drench gun. Dose to the heaviest liveweight in each group.
Which animals should not be treated?
DO NOT USE in sheep less than 10 kg or cattle less than 100 kg body weight. It is contraindicated in lambs under 6 weeks of age and calves under 16 weeks of age, should not be used in dogs, horses or any other pets, and is not recommended for goats.
What are the withholding periods?
