Administer the correct tablet dose based on your animal's weight as listed on the packaging. Give the tablet directly by mouth or mix with food. Repeat treatment every 3 months for adult dogs and cats. For puppies and kittens, worm every 2 weeks from 2-12 weeks of age, then monthly until 6 months of age. Tips: Always dose by weight to ensure effective treatment and prevent wormer resistance. If your dog has eaten raw sheep or cattle offal, consult your vet about additional monthly praziquantel treatment for hydatid tapeworm, as quarterly all-wormer may not provide sufficient protection in rural Queensland. Keep records of worming dates to maintain a regular schedule.
