Unroll the mesh along your fence line and secure it to your posts using fence clips or tie wire at regular intervals—roughly every 30cm up the post. Pull the mesh taut as you go to avoid sagging, but don't over-tension it or you'll distort the welded joints. For best results, install on the inside of your post line so stock can't push against the fixings. Tips: Buy a bit extra—you'll always have waste on corners and around gate openings, so a 30m roll often covers less actual fence than you'd think. Check your posts are properly spaced before you start laying out the mesh, as irregular spacing will make tensioning difficult and look poor. If you're fencing cattle or sheep that push hard, run a hot wire along the top to discourage contact with the mesh itself.
