Unroll the DIY welded wire mesh along your fence line or structure and cut to length using wire cutters or angle grinder. Secure to posts or frames using appropriate wire ties, staples, or welded wire fixings at 150-200mm spacing. The 50mm x 50mm square mesh at 2mm wire weight suits small stock and poultry exclusion, garden beds, and general DIY fencing and construction projects. Tips: The square 50mm x 50mm pattern provides a more uniform appearance than woven mesh and doesn't distort as easily when under lateral pressure. Cut square across the welded wire intersections for the cleanest edge and minimal sharp wire protrusions. This mesh is well-suited for cage construction, vegetable garden fencing, and rabbit exclusion.
