It is a water soluble herbicide for non-selective control of many annual and perennial weeds in conservation tillage and other situations, including fallow and pre-sowing, Roundup Ready canola and cotton, and pre-harvest uses as listed on the label.

What rate do I use in fallow?
For fallow and pre-sowing: 0.77–2.3 L/ha for annual weeds, 2.3–4.6 L/ha for perennial weeds and 7.0 L/ha for hard-to-control perennials. Check the label for the rate for each weed.
Does rain affect it?
Rainfall up to 6 hours after application may reduce effectiveness, and heavy rainfall within 2 hours may wash the chemical off the foliage so a repeat treatment may be required.
