Host: Dairy cattle. Target: Teat pathogens and mastitis organisms
Uddersan Ready-To-Use is formulated for use without dilution — do not mix or dilute, and do not use it as a milking-plant (CIP) cleaner. Thoroughly spray or dip all teats after every milking. Dip: use a plastic or other non-metal container for iodine solutions; clean out the dip cup as the teat dip gets low and do not top up. Spray: spray upwards from underneath the teats, not from the side, ensuring the whole surface of each teat is covered. Ensure teats are clean and dry before the next milking to reduce contamination and iodine residue in milk; if heavily soiled udders or teats need washing, dry them properly. Store below 30°C and keep out of reach of children. Withholding period: nil. Tips: Apply to every cow at every milking as part of an integrated mastitis control program. Check teat skin condition regularly; the built-in emollient system helps prevent cracking and chapping. Keep dip cups clean and replace dip rather than topping up to avoid contamination.
