About Our UNIQUE Post & Stay Connectors
Do you want a simple to install and strong stay connector? Our twist tight post and stay connectors allow you to securely connect a wide range of post and stay sizes with our unique design.
The connector consists of a bolt on clamp and a Twist-Tight tongue.
Rather than flat, the Twist-Tight™ tongue is twisted. This twist covers the whole inside of the stay, resulting in a stronger and more secure hold.
The tongue is tapered at one end so it is easy to install. It then widens at the base and locks in. We have also added a disk at the base to stop water and spiders from getting into your stay.
The tongue itself can be used in wooden posts, or connected to a steel post using our clamps.
Our clamps can easily be wrapped around the post then tightened and connected to the tongue using a single nut and bolt. It’s quick and easy to install and you can run as many stays as you want at any angle.

What sizes does this clamp suit?
This clamp is designed to connect 100NB x 50NB post and stay sizes. The bolt-on clamp wraps around the post, and the Twist-Tight tongue connects to the stay.
How does the Twist-Tight tongue work?
The tongue is twisted along its length, which covers the whole inside of the stay for a stronger and more secure hold. It's tapered at one end for easy installation, then widens at the base and locks in place. A disk at the base also stops water and spiders from getting into your stay.
Can I use this on both wooden and steel posts?
Yes. The tongue can be inserted directly into wooden posts. For steel posts, you use the bolt-on clamp, which wraps around the post and is tightened and connected to the tongue with a single nut and bolt.
Can I install stays at different angles?
Yes. You can run as many stays as you want at any angle. The clamp design allows for flexible installation.

Yes, but freight on this product is quoted individually rather than calculated at checkout. Because of its size, weight or bulk we need to arrange delivery and confirm the cost with you before dispatch. It is also available for local delivery or Click and Collect from our Gympie store.
