Unwind the tape from the reel and run it between the insulators on your posts, keeping it reasonably tight but not so tight it'll snap when stock leans on it. Join lengths using a Gallagher tape connector or by overlapping 10cm and twisting the ends together firmly. For temporary work like shifting stock between paddocks, you can peg it to the ground with star pickets every 10-15 metres depending on terrain.
