Install the TROUGH 4' SPLIT FENCE WATERER by securing it firmly to a fence or post at an appropriate height for your livestock. Connect the inlet to your water supply using poly pipe, ensuring all connections are tight to prevent leaks. Adjust the float valve mechanism to maintain optimal water levels, allowing livestock easy access to fresh water. Turn on the water supply and monitor the trough for proper operation before leaving animals unattended. Tips: Position the trough in shaded areas where possible to reduce algae growth and water temperature fluctuations. Regularly inspect the float valve and inlet connections for debris or mineral buildup, particularly in areas with hard water. In warmer months, consider adding a small amount of algaecide or ensure good water circulation to keep the trough clean and hygienic.
