Push the post into the ground using your boot or by hand pressure until it's firm — no tools needed. Attach your multiwire electric fencing lines to the clips or connectors on the post, making sure each wire sits securely. For temporary breaks in fence or short-term grazing rotations, space these posts about 3 to 4 metres apart depending on wire tension and ground conditions. Once you're done with that paddock, simply pull the post straight out and move it to your next job. Tips: Push straight down rather than at an angle, as twisting can bend the thin post and make it harder to remove later. If the ground is particularly hard or rocky, wet the area first to soften it — you'll save yourself a lot of effort and won't damage the post trying to force it in. Check your wire tension regularly over the first day or two after setting up, as posts can settle slightly and you may need to tighten off.
