The Heavy Duty Plastic Multiwire Treadin is ideal for fencing most animals, with multiple lugs or different wire and tape heights.

It has a unique 'twist and lock' design for easy fence wire/tape/braid installation and release.

Push the post firmly into the ground by stepping on the tread plate until it's seated properly — no digging or tools required. Attach your electric fence wire to the multiple connection points on the post, making sure the wire is tight and making good contact. For temporary grazing breaks, space these posts about 2-3 metres apart depending on your wire configuration and ground conditions. Tips: Get these posts in while the ground's still got some give to it — pushing them into rock-hard ground wastes time and effort, so tackle your temporary fencing after rain if you can. Check that your wire is sitting properly in the clips and making full contact, because a loose connection will let stock push through without getting a proper shock. These posts are lightweight for a reason, so don't rely on them alone in high-wind situations or where stock are likely to lean hard against the fence.
