TIE WIRE LONGLIFE BLUE HIGH TENSILE FENCE WIRE 2.80MM X 1000M WARATAH at a glance

High Tensile Longlife Blue Fence Wire

The strongest high tensile fence wire available from Waratah.

Larger diameter wire with a high breaking strain, recommended where strength is vital.

Suitable for fences with long strains and wider post spacings.

Requires correct tensioning to allow the fence to act as a suspension fence.

Use in high pressure situations.

Use as a top wire in all fences where falling branches, cattle or other large animals pose threats of pressuring or breaking through the fence.

Unroll the wire carefully and attach to your posts using standard fencing techniques—either wrap around timber posts or use strainers on steel. For high-tensile fencing, keep tension consistent across the run and avoid over-tensioning, which can snap the wire or damage posts. Work systematically from one end of the fence line to the other, checking for kinks or damage as you go. Tips: Always keep a slight sag in the wire between posts—dead-straight wire under tension will snap when stock hits it or temperature changes. Pre-cut your lengths before starting installation rather than trying to unroll and measure as you go; it saves time and reduces tangles. Store the coil under cover out of direct sun to prevent degradation of the blue coating before use.
