Ideal for use in all tie wire applications including general fencing, farming, building, hobbies, vineyards and gardening applications.

Use Long life Tie Wire with Longlife Fence products to ensure you get the best life from your fence.

Unroll the wire and feed it through your strainer or tensioner, keeping it level and tight as you work along the fence line. Pull the wire taut to remove any slack, then use a tie-wire tool or pliers to twist the loose end back on itself, creating a secure wrap around your posts or standards. For best hold, make at least three full wraps around each post before cutting off the excess. Tips: Keep your tie wire dry and out of direct sun when it's not in use—damp storage or UV exposure will degrade it faster and make it harder to work with. Don't over-tension the wire on hot days; metal expands, and over-tight wire can snap or pull posts out of plumb when the weather cools. A good tie-wire tool or proper pliers will save your hands and give you neater, more secure wraps than trying to twist by hand.
