Dual Gold Herbicide is a short residual, pre-emergent herbicide for the control of many important annual grasses and broadleaf weeds in various crops.
Under optimal conditions, Dual Gold Herbicide provides residual control of weeds for up to 8 weeks.
This ensures optimum crop establishment and development.
The new shoots (coleoptile) of germinating weeds absorb Dual Gold Herbicide during emergence.
Once absorbed, the active constituent, S-metolachlor, controls weeds by producing a severe growth inhibition of seedling-shoot and root tissue soon after germination.
Its effectiveness depends on the occurrence of rainfall or irrigation to move it down into the top 3 to 4 cm of soil where it must be present in a moist soil at the time of weed germination.

Mixing and spraying:
Fill the spray tank to one quarter full.
Then add Dual Gold while adding water to make up the final spray volume. Pour Dual Gold into the stream of incoming water.
Good agitation at the time Dual Gold is added to the tank will ensure good mixing.
