Chlortan 720 is registered to treat Botrytis, Greymould, Rust diseases, Septoria and Alternaria leaf spot diseases on Ornamentals, and Dollar Spot, Brown Patch and Grey leaf spot in Turf and Lawns.

Surefire Chlortan 720 (720 g/L chlorothalonil, Group M5 protectant fungicide) is applied at crop- and disease-specific label rates – there is no single dilution. Examples from the label: dilute spraying of tree and vine crops at 160–210 mL per 100 L of water (almonds 160 mL/100 L; grapes 160–210 mL/100 L); ornamentals at 100 mL/100 L and turf at 130–200 mL per 100 m²; field and vegetable crops at per-hectare rates such as cucurbits 1.6–2.5 L/ha, chickpeas 1–2 L/ha and peanuts 1.1–1.8 L/ha. Apply protectively before infection with thorough coverage and repeat at the label interval while conditions favour disease. DO NOT mix with spraying oils or wetting agents, and observe the stone-fruit restrictions on oil and EC tank mixes after shuck fall. Withholding periods range from 1 day (many vegetables, plums) to 7 days (most stone fruit, table grapes, brassicas) and 14 days (wine grapes, onions, chickpeas, lentils).
