This kit contains the brackets and components to build a three way junction Adjustable Straining Assembly using Steel Footplates and Tension Cables and Long Stay Pipes.

Use:

A lightweight alternative and most flexible way to build an adjustable stay use the Steel Footplate and Tension Cable.

The Steel Footplate (AC11) holds stay rail (AC02) in position and connects to Strainer Post with a flexible Steel Tensioning Cable (AC10) that has a loop that easily slips over the strainer post.

Bolt the 3-way strainer assembly bracket kit to the base of your T-junction or corner strainer post, with the steel footplate flat on the ground. The three-way design handles wire loads arriving from three directions simultaneously — suited to T-junctions where three fence lines converge on a single post. Tension wires through each strainer arm, balancing loads across the assembly as evenly as possible. Tips: Three-way junctions place more complex and variable loads on the strainer post than one-way or two-way assemblies — ensure your post is substantially deeper and more firmly anchored to handle the combined tension. Concrete around the post base is recommended in soft soils. Check the assembly quarterly for any movement, particularly after tensioning individual fence runs.
