UV-resistant star post caps come in high visibility white, making the posts safer and more visible.

Star post caps have pre-formed slots and can also accommodate a wide range of electric fencing applications.

Slip the cap over the top of your waratah post after it's been driven into the ground. Make sure the post is fully seated in the ground before capping. Push the cap down firmly until it sits snug on the post — it should be tight enough that it won't shift in wind or when you're straining wires against it. The cap will help shed water and protect the top of the post from splitting and rot. Tips: Don't hammer the cap onto the post — you'll damage it and make it harder to remove later if you need to. Check your caps are sitting level after installation, especially if your ground's uneven, as a tilted cap won't shed water properly. Keep a few spare caps on hand because they can crack or get lost, and they're cheap insurance against water damage to expensive posts.
