This is a replacement spray wand (lance) supplied with an O-ring and nut - it is a spare part, not a complete sprayer. To fit it, first depressurise and empty your sprayer, then unscrew the existing wand from the trigger/shut-off handle. Fit the supplied O-ring, thread this wand onto the handle and hand-tighten the nut until the seal is firm - do not cross-thread or overtighten. Check the connection at low pressure before use. This universal wand suits Solo sprayers 425LC, 425, 473D, 475, 417, 456, 457, 461, 462 and 463. Tips: Replace the O-ring whenever you notice weeping at the joint. Rinse the wand through with clean water after each use to stop chemical residue building up in the lance and nozzle. Confirm your Solo model is on the compatibility list before fitting.
