Mount the SILVAN boomless spray nozzle securely to your Hayman towbar sprayer, ensuring the 1.5M boom is level and positioned 45-60cm above the target area for optimal coverage. Fill the tank with your selected herbicide or pesticide, then adjust the pressure regulator to the manufacturer's recommended PSI setting for your chosen nozzle. Calibrate your application rate by measuring nozzle output (litres per minute) multiplied by your ground speed (km/h) divided by boom width (1.5M) to achieve the desired litres per hectare. Always wear appropriate PPE and spray during calm conditions, moving at a consistent speed to ensure even chemical distribution across your paddock.
