Mount the SILVAN brass boomless nozzle kit securely to your Hayman towbar, ATV rack or UTV framework using the supplied clamp, positioning it so the broadcast swath sprays clear of the vehicle. Connect the supplied 600mm of 12mm I.D hose and inline tap to your spray system. Fill the tank with your selected herbicide or pesticide, then adjust the pressure regulator to the manufacturer's recommended setting — a pump delivering around 7 L/min is required. Calibrate your application rate by measuring total nozzle output (litres per minute) multiplied by your ground speed (km/h) divided by the effective swath width (3.4m single-sided or 7.6m double-sided) to achieve the desired litres per hectare. Always wear appropriate PPE and spray during calm conditions, moving at a consistent speed to ensure even chemical distribution across your paddock.
