DO NOT: spray if rain is likely to occur within one hour.

AVOID: double overlaps to reduce risk of injury to rotational crops the following season.

DO NO: apply by aerial application

Host: Winter cereals (wheat, barley, oats, triticale), pastures, non-crop areas, forests, rights-of-way. Target: Climbing buckwheat and other broadleaf weeds in cereals; lantana; thistles, docks, fireweed and other pasture broadleaf weeds as listed on the label

Shotup (10 g/L aminopyralid + 140 g/L fluroxypyr, Group 4) is applied at crop-, weed- and method-specific label rates – there is no single dilution. Winter cereals: 500–750 mL/ha by boom from the 3-leaf to first-node stage (Z13–Z31), e.g. climbing buckwheat 500 mL/ha at 2–4 leaf or 750 mL/ha at 6–8 leaf, in the water volume specified on the label. Lantana and listed pasture weeds (thistles, docks, fireweed): high-volume spot spray at 700 mL per 100 L of water to thoroughly wet foliage, applied to actively growing plants (lantana October–April). Do not apply to stressed or non-actively growing plants, do not spray if rain is likely within one hour, avoid double overlaps, and do not apply by aircraft. Grazing/stock-food withholding 7 days. Aminopyralid is persistent: observe the label plant-back periods (cereals/canola 4–9 months; legumes 6–20 months) and do not use treated plant material or manure as mulch or compost. Refer to the registered label for the full directions-for-use table.

Always read the current registered product label before use. Dose rates and withholding periods on this page are provided as a guide only. The registered label supplied with the product is the legal document and takes precedence. If in doubt, contact TGRM on (07) 5482 1692 or the manufacturer directly.

Apply to actively growing weeds at the label growth stage; allow several weeks for full effect on woody weeds; keep drift off susceptible broadleaf crops and gardens; and manage manure/hay from treated pasture – aminopyralid residues can damage sensitive crops.
