Dermcare Malaseb Medicated Shampoo. Topical keratolytic, antibacterial, antifungal and antipruritic shampoo for dogs and cats.
For the treatment of seborrhoeic dermatitis associated with infections by Staphylococcus pseudintermedius, Malassezia (Pityrosporum) pachydermatis and an aid in the treatment of dermatophyte (ringworm) infections due to Microsporum canis, Microsporum gypseum and Trichophyton mentagrophytes in dogs and cats by decreasing time to clinical resolution and killing infective spores.
Formulated to remove scale, degrease the skin and kill cutaneous micro-organisms which primarily or secondarily cause dermatitis.
Directions for use
Wet the animal thoroughly with clean water. Apply at several points and massage into the coat; a sponge assists with lathering. Ensure it is applied under the tail and between the toes. Avoid applying around eyes and mouth. Leave shampoo on the animal for 10 minutes then rinse off thoroughly with clean water. Repeat twice weekly until symptoms abate, then weekly or as directed by your veterinary surgeon.
50 mL would be adequate to treat a 30 kg, medium hair length dog and 7–10 mL would be adequate for an adult cat. When treating ringworm, all in-contact animals should be treated.

Animals should not be left unattended during the 10 minute shampoo contact time. Not recommended for use in rabbits or species other than dogs or cats.
